Durga Puja 

Durga Puja is the most important Hindu festival. It is mainly celebrated in west Bengal but people celebrate it all over the world. The festival is where lots of different people come together to pray and worship the goddess Durga who is a symbol of power and destroyer of the demons. Ma Durga comes to Earth with her family for 5 days in October annually. Everybody comes to celebrate and enjoy.

She has 10 hands,
And three eyes,
She is worshipped everywhere,

She is a very powerful and beautiful goddess.

Daughter of Dr. Nado and Bulu Mondol, Sumana is one of our enthusiastic  young members. She is 10 years old and is a Year 5 student at Longthorpe Primary.
